A simplified approach to superresolution will be presented. Several images of the same scene are mutually registered with subpixel accuracy. Resolutions of the images can be different. Precision of the resulting image can be easily estimated. The approach is based on spatial statistics. It is useful namely in such cases when the resolution of input images is so low that intensity value of a pixel should not be assigned to a single point in the center of the pixel.
