When raw data are available, calibration images can be obtained by capturing some specific pattern. PSFs representing degradations involved in the process are then reconstructed from such images using the knowledge of the original pattern. These PSFs can be used to remove lens degradations, such as chromatic aberrations, vignetting or even geometric degradations, in other raw images captured with same lens settings. This is done by using space-variant deconvolution with special regularisation term for improving color correspondence.
