A Total Variation Spectral Framework for Scale and Texture Analysis

I will present recent paper by Guy Gilboa (Techion, Israel). He proposed a way how to use the total variation operator as a band pass filter. This framework would be useful in texture analysis/segmentation. This tool seems capable of distinguishing different noise levels in the image.
